Hey Sony, welcome to the worldwide economy
These big slow moving goliath companies need to get with the times.

Do they really think for a minute that people that want a PSP will wait an extra six months to get it, just because Sony can't produce enough.

Get real. I hope a judge puts the smack dab on them.

Don't forget
It will not help Sony achieve its release date if the importers keep doing this. Sony would want to have a certain amount of excess inventory prior to the release. Your comment makes it sound like they are making the units themselves.

Hey - where are all the file-sharing advocates
There have been lots of people posting on cnet, who don't recognise the rights of creaters, to ontrol their own intelectual property. They support the criminal copying of files.

Where are they, on this case - Sony has sold the product, but is still trying to control what the buyers do with it (like importing it into a country, to fill a gap).

STAND UP - protest for your right to own a PSP in Britain !

Personally, I oppose the theft of files, which is criminal. But I do support the rights of the buyer to sell on the original product, to whoever they like.

well what do they expect...
they basically just insulted europe buy neglecting our market
needs, why should we wait? I got mine from my brother in the
states and it works perfectly fine. I don't get this whole control
issue about which regions products are released in first. If there
were more synced up release dates then it would encourage people
to obtain it in their country and legally. That and having the same
prices globally would make things a lot better.

Why Doesn't SONY Sue Importers in the US?
This is so interesting.....should I be thankful that I bought an import PSP and Sony didn't go after me? Not only in UK, I know a lot of Asian countries are importing Japanese PSPs because people live there want to play, and why not? It just helps Sony to sell more PSPs, right? :)
