Just get a gun and learn to use it in self-defense.

Huh? Would it would be terrible if a woman used a taser to defend herself from a rapist?

Taser = Russian Roulette

Cops routinely kill people using Tasers. They are not "safe" by any means. People are brainwashed by Star Trek episodes and they think people stunned by a Taser will just be fine afterwards-- wrong. The misperception about a Taser's "safety" actually leads to them being used more rather than less.

People should just buy more guns, then blow holes in each other's
heads.
Right?
Unless you're willing to talk about an option to the Taser, then your
comments are just useless drivel.
That is Phaser not TASER
by AZEqualizer August 16, 2007 1:46 PM PDT
Star Trek used Phasers on stun not TASER's and if someone doesn't know the difference they should not be left outside with out a baby sitter.

Police (except for a few in the minority) use a TASER as the last means before a firearm -at least in Arizona.
If the Perp dies - oh well he should have stopped what he was doing- and he sure as heck would have died with the 9mm, 357 or 40SW in him.

Like all self defense products it is the consumer that has the responsibility to be trained in its proper use before carrying the product and that is also part of knowing when to use it.

Taser has a training school here and so do most of the gun ranges.
Never hear so much Crap in my life

The new TASER must be registered and has a better background check than most firearms laws require. When fired it leads behind microdots and lots of them to id that shot the thing. Yea, it may have killed some people but I guarantee if someone who knows what they?re doing shoots a perp with a firearm they have a much higher chance of being dead ?.every time.

I guess we should just let the bad guys do whatever they want and we can attend to our loved ones at the grave or hospital. Maybe we could all have trained bodyguards instead ? oh wait they might hurt or kill someone or abuse someone? Get real or be a victim your choice.

Good for you TASER to give some people an alternative.
