Illegal in Michigan

I'm sorry, but until the states of this nation can get their collective macro heads in order and come to comformity in laws, this product is crap. Unless it somehow makes its way into the bill of rights along with guns, that won't happen.

There's hypocricy in this, in that police in Michigan can have these things, but citizens cannot. It's a felony to own one. What BS.

And besides, I'd rather be toting an AK-47 any day of the week over this thing. I WANT you to see I can plant you in the ground you from a football field away. I carry protection to KILL you, not tickle. They can't call it concealed anymore, when I've got it strapped over my shoulder in plain sight.

30 second shock: 30 years paying the lawsuit off

Coming Soon: Some psychologically disturbed woman decides that some guy doesn't have the right to walk to his car -- that happens to be on the same floor as hers -- and shoots him with her $350 Taser. Once they force her to start taking her meds again she's gonna' realize that she just shot away her trust fund w/ a pull of the button. If the poor man has a heart condition and dies she's looking at years of hard time.

Taser's statement that it's ok to shoot somebody you think looks suspicious is about as strong an argument for weapon-producer liabilty as I've ever heard. I especially like how they recommend then dropping your Taser: the marketing people see assault and battery of innocent men as a sales event.

taser better than shooting the person

Yep Taser may cause injury. But a firearm sure will kill you dead. As a retired police officer I give kudos to the Taser people. They now give citizens as well as police officers an alternative to deadly force.
