Does anyone understand Zimbabwe?
It's a wonder anyone still lives in Zimbabwe. It can only be because they aren't allowed to leave. Mugabe's systematic destruction of his own country has never made sense to me. Is the man just insane?

I guess their desire to monitor every scrap of communication into and out of their country isn't all that different than what President Bush is doing in the U.S., but at least Bush isn't systematically smashing everything in his path to secure his country.

I suppose the mindset of lunatics like Mugabe and Charles Taylor is "My country will be secure when everyone who is not me is dead."
