Free trade is a joke, WTO should be disbanded
Free trade is a joke. Every country has a right to do whatever they want and do not need a corrupt international organization. If the US want to place a tarriff on foreign steel, fine. Their choice. If the EU wants to ban the import of GM food, fine. There should be nothing to stop these countries from instituting their own trade policies. I'm ashamed that the US even joined the WTO to begin with.

I know that free trade, in economic terms is better than protectionism, but I do not see how it could be benificial to these counties' people given the amount of damage that free trade and the WTO does in the mean time.

Dictating social policy from abroad?
President Bush would rather have a trade war than have "...American social policy dictated from abroad"? And then we wonder why other countries/cultures get upset when we try to force "democracy" upon their way of life.
