Focalink to help scope out audiences

Focalink Communications will next week introduce a service to help online advertisers home in on their target audiences with more precision.

The Web-based service, called MarketMatch, will provide advertisers with extensive profiles of commercial Web sites, including data about the site's content and user traffic. The service will also list ad space pricing and sales contacts for the site.

Focalink will work with Web site reviewer The McKinley Group to supply current information on the 500 most-visited commercial Web sites and their audiences

Focalink has signed up three ad agencies, including Anderson & Lembke, Hal Riney & Partners, and Young & Rubicam, to beta test MarketMatch. An additional 20 agencies will be signed up this month, the company said.
