Why would the EU situation affect Vista?

At this point it doesn't look like a year of perfect weather and a six
pack of Saturn rockets could help Vista get off the ground.

Way Above the Law
by Stomfi July 13, 2006 7:28 AM PDT
By not complying with either the EU or the American Government sanctions, Microsoft is telling us by active demonstration that they are way above the law.

If it OK for Microsoft to get away with illegalities, then it must be OK for Joe Blow to do the same.

Joe can feel he can pirate software from a company that behaves as if it is outside the law, as it is obvious to Joe that if the laws don't work on one party they can't justifiably use them to persecute another.

While Microsoft refuses to pay for it's crimes against its competitors, I don't think any decent person should be buying its products. Buy an Apple or a Penguin instead.
