The EU's highest court says that a recent intellectual-property case strengthens its position against the software giant--but Microsoft, while praising the decision, says the two cases aren't comparable.

Barring some legal catastrophe Im expecting to finally see a competing (and probably superior) operating system coming out of europe some time soon.
