When I custome build a pc I would like to know on the outside of the box which cpu is compatible with it. What is the lowest/highest speed cpu can fit?

I do not see this yet.
Software makes put requirements on the outside of the box so why not hardware developers?

AMD always featured in "low budget" PC's

In my mind, AMD is a budget chip manufacturer. I have a hard time finding an intel processor in the pc's at wal-mart. Of course, the one's with Intel are Pentium 4s and celerons.

I know AMD will be back, but right now it appears Intel owns multicore processing.
