by wearybones October 31, 2009 8:07 PM PDT: This is for Mr. Andy Rooney. My husband and I have been reading about his late friend, Don Hewitt.
We sorrow with Mr. Rooney as my husband was a Merchant Marine in WWII. There is a book we would like to send to Mr. Rooney with his permission. It is an 80 page book with many WWII Merchant Marine photos of ships, etc. along with their stories of WWII. It was written by E. S. Land and has just been re-printed in hopes it will get the attention of our U.S. Senators and put to rest all of the untruths that have spread about our WWII U.S. Merchant Marines. His friend would have loved it. I believe Mr. Rooney will enjoy reading it as well. Hope to hear from Mr. Rooney.

All the facts prove that the situation in the world is going to change. More and more thinking people are interested in this topic. As for me, I find a lot of books about the geopolitical situation at http://pdf.rapid4me.com . But these are books and it is interesting to read the present day information about it.
