New iPods are too expensive
by roberts2424 October 26, 2004 2:12 PM PDT
The color iPod looks like an early Palm PDA while the black one
is very cool. Both are priced so high that anyone can get a laptop
for these prices.

It's the iSock! My cleaning lady would toss this in the trash if she saw it in the laundry... and then I'd be out, what.. $30?

Nothing is too expensive for Apple users
by webterractive October 27, 2004 1:36 AM PDT
I use a PC and I find that the iPOD is too expensive for a music playing device, it is almost the price of a low-end laptop. Infact I can get a computer for that price. Apple is just a trend like back in the 80's it will make some impact and then disappear, and I am pretty sure it will go this time for good.

Coming soon: visual elements of albums?

Now cover art and liner notes can accompany songs. This should be included at no extra cost with a download of a complete album.

Great idea and kewl! Pricey but then kewl things usually are. It
just depends on whether young folks will dig up the $$. If you
are young and you think it is kewl; you will buy it --young
ranges from 15-65

Think about this.....

A 40/60 gig device that stores photos that can be synched with
sound and displayed through a projector opens up a whole
realm of educational and business applications for the new iPod.
Everything from PowerPoint presentations to university lectures
to "how-to" demonstrations to sales presentations to real estate
listings etc, etc. etc. can now be presented. Very cool. The
music and snapshots are just gravy.

So What??
by PCCRomeo October 30, 2004 11:24 AM PDT
No matter how much **** apple adds to their iPod, I'm still not getting one. And besides, Apple is wasting their time and money updating the iPod so much and so quickly. Why don't they save the olor screen for their next iPod generation??....Dell just updated their Dj and does that mean I'm buying one?? NoOoOoOoO because they both do the one thing that they need to: PLAY MUSIC!

The expense is warranted if you want the very best...

I have had my ipod for 21 months and it is going strong. I have taken it to varioius countries where I have vacationed and it always gets noticed. I play mine in the car, at work, at the gym and through our sound system at home. Yes I do have all the gadgets (navipod, itrip etc.)but it is certainly worth it.

Price discounts

At this site, there are amazing deals on iPods. Some people have even gotten them for free with some work. And no, it is not a scam.
