Sure, lots of people use Google every day. But its status as a public or private company doesn't really seem to change the experience for the people using the service. The hoopla over the "funding event" (for money that they don't need) is nutty. Some in the media recognize that, so they then write articles explaining the media hype. Argh.
Let's hope that this tech version of watching OJ drive down the freeway slowly comes to a quick end. (Though I doubt it will.)
