- Tue Nov 28 2000 Short Take: TI comfortable with guidance
Tom Engibous, chief executive of Texas Instruments, said Tuesday he remains comfortable with the company's previous guidance that fourth-quarter sales will be roughly the same as those in the third quarter. TI's chip sales are expected to be up slightly this quarter from last, partly because of strong demand for chips for cable modem and digital subscriber lines.
