Vivendi Universal's record label, Universal Music Group, signed a deal to allow Diva to deliver music videos on demand for digital cable subscribers. Diva's service, dubbed "The Viewing Lounge," will let cable subscribers watch videos from Universal Music artists, including U2, Eminem, Shaggy and Blink 182.
Universal Music videos will be available on cable systems that carry "The Viewing Lounge." The service says it has been accessed by 2 million people. Diva recently inked another video-on-demand deal with cable TV company Charter Communications.
